“BRAT” is a project of the First Slavic Evangelical Baptist Church of Sacramento, California, with the support and affiliation of the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association. The project was initiated in 2012 with the recommendation of Kartina TV which wanted to attract Slavic audiences of America to its channel.
“BRAT” is an acronym which stands for: Baptist Russian-American Television. The goals of the channel are to bring God’s light into the people’s homes, to tell them about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to save sinners from eternal destruction, to help people to be reconciled with God, and to be grounded in the truth and faith and live in purity, holiness, and righteousness.
“BRAT” broadcasts various programs, sermons, Christian movies, concert recordings, interviews, and much more around the clock. Online broadcasting is accessible around the world. The channel “BRAT” as a part of Kartina TV is also offered in the package of regular television in USA, Canada, Germany, Israel and countries of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
